  This place doesn't really need reviews because everyone knows Giordanos. While I'd rather have it sitting outside downtown Chicago, this is a convenient location to Midway and walking distance from multiple hotels nearby.
  
  The staff was friendly and they never fail to tell you how long deep dish takes. Some people came in after us and preordered their pizza so it was ready shortly after they sat down, which is smart!
  
  The pizza is always cooked perfectly and it's always more than you can eat. The family size salad was a perfect option to share while we waited for our pizza.

  I used to really enjoy Giordano's for their excessive cheesiness and their unique tasty crunchy crust. We went on around 7 on a Friday expecting it to be super busy. The place was all but empty, no wait. Our host had to be reminded to seat us and seemed annoyed about it however. That sucked.
  
  We waited a while for our server, an older man who was kinda just not friendly at all, almost to the point of being indifferent and annoyed at the same time. We ordered their wings as an app to the small pizza and the wings were actually shockingly good, but the ranch was better.
  
  Atmosphere was lacking, and I'm starting to feel like the more chain-ier Giordano's gets, the less I like it, the more like a pizza diner it feels. I will probably try local next time. I just wasn't digging the service or the vibes, the pizza was decent but not worth.

  Visited from out of town, never had deep dish until today. Some highlights I wanted to address:
  * wait time is very long, however, they're making the pizzas by order, so a 30-45 minute is not too out of the ordinary
  * cashiers responded to questions we had with "I don't know," obviously not professional at all, especially because you can not know the answer and still offer to find someone who can better assist, rather than saying "I don't know,"
  * this location is literally a parking lot away from the airport, this is definitely not recommended for anyone (or child) who'd be spooked by loud noises because it's unavoidably loud
  * our waitress, not going to put her name because she either didn't tell us or was talking so fast we missed it, was unfortunately very far from hospitable, no refills the whole night, saw her about three of four times, forgot two different appetizers, threw the straws on the table and said "here ya go," had no idea what we ordered, like when I say it was abnormally bad for someone who had three tables was a mess
  * this didn't personally affect me, but others in my ten person party, but my party ordered six small deep dish pizzas, when we meant to order six small individual pizzas; understandably, we got it wrong, but it's smart to specify the correct items to your tourist patrons
  * we spent almost $200 because of this because we specifically told not to pay until the bill arrives and you receive no receipts of what you ordered, plus your waitress may be just as lost as you are
  * even though we looked ridiculous six entire pizzas, expecting personal pizzas, the pies ranged from delicious to "okay"
  
  The food was okay, but the service was so bad, I seriously challenge the management skills and training of the employees. Brownie points if we learn how to handle tourists guests because spending almost $200 on pizza because there was no specifications is not acceptable. It's understandable if the employees are new, but high school cashiers and overwhelmed waitresses should not be working a floor with no managers present.

  We went to Giordano's after leaving Midway Airport. It is about 1 mile away. The wait was very long for the food. They said they make the pizza fresh and there would be a 45 minute wait. We were patient since we have heard that this is the place to eat when in Chicago. The family ordered a stuffed pizza and I had a salad. But let me tell you my salad was delicious. The dressing was so good. This was our first experience with an authentic stuffed Chicago pizza. They enjoyed it and thought it was very good. There was a couple near us speaking with the waiter and then the manager about being charged for a substitution and they did not know prior to placing the order. So beware if you alter the preset pizza they will charge you per item thus increasing the price tremendously.

  If I could give this place 0 stars  I would. Took over two hours to get our medium pizza delivered. It came cold as ice. And then by the middle of the night all the kids were sick!! Order from anywhere but this location!!
